Join the webinars on April 28 and 29 to learn how churches and faith-based organizations have been responding to COVID-19. We’ll explore what has worked well, what challenges still remain and how we can help churches and faith leaders encourage their communities to protect themselves through vaccination.

Speakers:
  • Dr. Monde Mqhayi, Senior Manager in the Gauteng Department of Health and member of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa Women’s Manyano Wellness Committee.
  • Dr. Annelies Wilder-Smith, Professor of Emerging Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and visiting Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Singapore. She also serves as Consultant to the Initiative of Vaccine Research at the World Health Organization.
  • Jean Nyandwi, MA, Country Director for World Relief DRC. He has more than 18 years of senior leadership experience in International Christian NGOs.
  • The conversation will be moderated by Ruth Kayima, RDN, MPH,Health and Gender Coordinator for East Africa, World Renew. She is a co-chair of the CCIH Community-Based Prevention and Care Working Group.
