The College of Public Policy (CPP) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is hosting its inaugural research conference on evaluation research in the global south.

The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary audience with cross-country learning to enable them to better understand evaluation in different nations and different sectors across the global south.

Held under the theme ‘Evaluation in the Global South: Looking to the Future’ the event is the first of its kind that goes beyond Western-centric appraisals and presents a truly global south portrait.

The two-day virtual event will bring together over 50 high level researchers, academics, professionals, and students, ensuring that the latest research is reviewed and disseminated to the whole evaluation community in the global south.

Dr Jennifer Eggert will speak about ‘MEAL, Faith and COVID 19 in the Development and Humanitarian Sector: Evidence from Africa, Asia and the Caribbean’ at a session on November 8 at 1PM (GMT+3). See the full conference programme here.
