On Behalf of UNICEF, African Council of Religious Leaders-Religions for Peace (ACRL-RFP) and the Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities (JLI), we are pleased to invite you to the inaugural Faith and Positive Change for Children Initiative (FPCC) FBOs orientation webinar for:
- West and Central Africa (WCAR) on October 24 from 1PM – 3PM WAT. There will be an interpreter for French speaking participants
- East and Southern Africa (ESAR) on October 25 from 3PM – 5PM EAT.
This FPCC Regional forum is convened to enhance participation of FBOs and their partners in the Multi-Faith Action Committees for Children (MFACCs) in joint efforts towards positive change for children, families and communities.
The webinars are designed for FBOs working with children in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe and who would like to learn more and potentially engage in this programme. More importantly, the webinars intend to:
- Communicate the current status of FPCC, roles of each partner and involvement of Faith Based Organizations
- Introduce and trigger participation in the Mind Heart Dialogue as a crucial approach towards positive change for children, families and communities
- Provide an overview of Multifaith Action Committees for Children (MFACCs) and activate participation
- Share thoughts on development of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks for each MFACC
- Illuminate on the desired next steps and how best each participant can be involved
