The event aims to provide an update on the 2022 May 9th statement and its five calls to action. In addition, the webinar aims to increase awareness of how investments in new fossil fuel expansion imperil the well-being of children, youth, and future generations and may constitute a form of violence against them.
The event also seeks to inspire and advance actions of faith-based actors and their partners to act on the commitments of the 9 May statement and prevent further increases in CO2 emissions by halting new investments into fossil fuels.
