Explore in depth faith and democracy, and how they are compatible in today’s society.

What is the compatibility of liberal democracy and organized religion? This is a question we aim to tackle at our upcoming panel discussion, including how the two parts can work together to achieve a more harmonious society. Religion has long been a part of people lives, including the societal structures that they reside in. With the increasing globalization and modernization of our world during the twentieth and twentieth-first century, it is easy to question if religion’s role has changed or has faded away to the private spaces of society. The relationship between the state and religion of today, however, paint a different, complex picture that has various dimensions.
