We are excited to share with you that we have plans to open the JLI Conflict Transformation Hub, with a focus on faith, to general membership again!

The hub existed from 2015 to 2017 but ceased activities shortly after the release of its scoping study. A new iteration of the hub was started in early 2023 when JLI gathered the participants of the 2022 PVE, Youth and Interfaith project and revived the Conflict Transformation hub with them. The hub has held several meetings with a research capacity-sharing focus in early 2023 and we are now ready to open up the hub to new members. Depending on interest, we are envisioning 2-4 meetings a year to allow members with an interest in conflict transformation and faith to update each other about their work, plan new research, publications and research dissemination, and apply for funding together.

At the moment, the Hub consists of around 10 members of local civil society organisations and universities in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East who work locally in their own communities. This local nature of the Hub membership was very important to us, but in this new phase of the Hub, we are happy to consider applications for membership of researchers and practitioners working locally, nationally or internationally. As usual, Hub membership is for free.

If you would like to join the first open meeting of the Hub on Friday 13 October (8-9am New York | 1-2pm London | 3-4pm Nairobi | 5-6pm Islamabad), please sign up here. In case of any questions, please email Jennifer at [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you in October!
