Join a Faith and Public Policy Breakfast and Program Saturday, October 20, 8:30am. A light breakfast will be served with the program beginning around 9:00am. Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonpartisan grassroots advocacy organization that advocates for a policy known as carbon fee and dividend. Two volunteers from CCL’s Fairfax County chapter, George Kralovec and Sarah Karush, will describe how they each came to see this policy as the best solution to climate change, despite their divergent political philosophies. They’ll outline CCL’s bridge-building, respectful approach to lobbying Congress and the methods used by the group’s nearly 500 chapters to build political will for climate action in their communities
