The Middle East Joint Learning Hub on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) and Faith held its long-awaited in-person meeting from the 22nd until the 25th of February 2024, in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The meeting marked an important milestone in the hub’s activities culminating in meeting face-to-face and sharing experiences and expertise among hub members from different ME countries. Members reconnected, shared their previous achievements in regards to MEAL activities within their local organizations, discussed future prospects related to the hub activities, as well as possible partnerships through the seed funding grants that will be available to hub members as part of the project. The meeting provided an opportunity to draw a roadmap of the hub activities for faith-sensitive MEAL implementation in the Middle East region during the year. The meeting played a quintessential role to steer our work moving forward.

عقد منتدى التنمية بالإيمان وممارسات الرّصد والتقييم والمساءلة والتعلّم في الشرق الأوسط اجتماعه الوجاهيّ الذي طال انتظاره خلال الفترة الممتدّة من 22 إلى 25 شباط/فبراير 2024، في إسطنبول – تركيا. شكّل هذا اللقاء علامةً فارقة ضمن أنشطة المنتدى التي تُوّجت باللقاء الوجاهيّ وتبادل الخبرات بين الأعضاء من مختلف دول الشرق الأوسط. تواصل الأعضاء من جديد وتبادلوا أخبار إنجازاتهم السابقة فيما يتعلق بأنشطة ممارسات الرّصد والتقييم والمساءلة والتعلّم في منظماتهم المحلية، وناقشوا الآفاق المستقبلية المتعلقة بأنشطة المنتدى، بالإضافة إلى الشراكات المحتملة التي يمكن أن تنتج من خلال منح التمويل الأوليّ للمشاريع التعليمية الصغيرة المتاحة للأعضاء كجزء من المشروع. تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ الاجتماع أتاح فرصة لرسم خارطة طريق فعّالة لأنشطة المنتدى تهدف بشكل رئيس إلى تنفيذ ممارسات الرّصد والتقييم والمساءلة والتعلّم في منطقة الشرق الأوسط خلال العام الحاليّ. وقد لعب الاجتماع دورًا جوهريًا للمضيّ قدمًا في عمل المنتدى.
