The Tropical Storm Beatriz that passed through the state of Oaxaca in Mexico left more than 150 landslides, mudslides and floods causing human casualties, material damages and leaving entire communities uncommunicative for more than 2 weeks. The drinking water was contaminated and the crops were destroyed, leaving the population without a harvest for consumption. With the accepted alert and project from Start Network, CADENA was able to support and help the communities by way of medical consultations, food pantries and water sanitation kits.
