About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

On December 1, 2022, JLI held a webinar where Jayeel Cornelio PhD, Ateneo de Manila University, presented his article ”Going home: youth and aspirations in postconflict Marawi, Philippines”. Patrick Godi, South Sudanese youth leader, policy researcher & co-founder of various initiatives, responded.

The pre-read for the session was the article mentioned above and available here.
