About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

On June 2, 2022, JLI held a webinar where Prof. Katherine Marshall, Georgetown University’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs & World Faiths Development Dialogue, presented “Impressions & Indications of Religious Engagement in Development”. Kirsten Laursen Muth, Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities, responded and it was followed by a Question and Answer session.
