In preparation for faith engagement at the World Humanitarian Summit, convening in Istanbul, May 2016, civil society organizations organized regional working meetings in order to provide local perspectives to the organizers of the WHS faith-focused event. Discussion focused on local perspectives on faith engagement in humanitarian response and feedback on the WHS faith-focused event’s themes, content and format. Reports from the regional working meetings were written by the meeting organizers and captured the range of the discussion at the regional working meeting.
