U.S. officials have long engaged religious leaders and institutions, as well as other community leaders and organizations. The Center for Faith-based and Community Initiatives is a part of a network of Centers throughout the U.S. federal government that serves to engage religious and community actors and organizations on key priorities and policy objectives.
