The Baha’i International Community and the United Nations

The book, Rethinking Religion and Politics in a Plural World: The Baha’i International Community and the United Nations (Bloomsbury 2021), looks at the ideas and concepts guiding religious NGOs in the international arena and focuses on the 75-year history of the Baha’i community’s engagement with the United Nations. It’s an examination of specific ideas, emerging from this religious tradition, and how they combine in a new conceptual framework for reimagining the role of religion, politics, and social change in the modern world.
