The “Religion & Sustainable Development: Building Partnerships to End Extreme Poverty” conference, held at the World Bank on July 7-9, 2015, aimed to produce specific and actionable recommendations to strengthening partnerships between public sector and religious and faith-based groups. Conference working sessions focused on the areas of Health Systems Strengthening, Ebola & HIV, Sexual & Gender-based Violence, Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief, and the cross-cutting theme of Large Scale Engagement of FBOs engaged attendees in small working groups in order to generate recommendations for action. These preliminary recommendations have been captured and summarized in the report here.
