In a world of widening inequalities, deepening climate emergencies, and shrinking civic spaces, the Asia Pacific Faith-Based Coalition for Sustainable Development (APFC) stands as a united beacon of hope. On 24 April 2025, APFC members founding organizations ACT Alliance, World Vision, Soka Gakkai International, Islamic Relief, Arigatou International, and new knowledge partner JLI gathered in Bangkok to reaffirm their shared commitment to building a just, inclusive, and resilient Asia-Pacific. Congratulations to World Vision Asia Pacific on being nominated as the new convener of APFC, with Soka Gakkai International supporting the smooth transition of leadership.
