About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

SVRI invites researchers, activists, leaders, and organizations in the fields of religions, spiritualities, faith communities, and the intersectional area of gender and religion to join a working group aimed at promoting research and evidence building for policy recommendation addressing gender-based violence in religious contexts in Latin America. The Working Group “Evidence Building” is part of the Faith and Gender-Based Violence Community of Practice project by the SVRI. The registration form will be open to the Latin American public until December 1st to increase the number of community members, who may be invited to participate in discussions to share their experiences and practices in combating gender-based violence. To join Working Group 1 (Evidence Building), please register here. Learn more here.
