The Faith & Positive Change for Children, Families and Communities (FPCC) is a pioneering global Social and Behavioral Change Initiative launched in 2018 by UNICEF, the Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities (JLI), and Religions for Peace (RfP). This initiative aims to transcend traditional single-sector, single-faith, small-scale, and sometimes instrumentalist approaches to faith engagement in development and humanitarian work.
Cascading the Global Initiative to Pakistan
In an effort to bring the global vision of FPCC to the country level, Pakistan has been actively strengthening its existing faith engagement coordination mechanisms. The goal is to unite various faiths to collaboratively address critical issues such as immunization and child protection. A significant step in this direction was the organization of a three-day Mind-Heart Dialogue (MHD) training.
The Mind-Heart Dialogue Training
Hosted by UNICEF Pakistan in partnership with JLI, RfP, Islamic Relief Pakistan, Dar Ul Uloom Haqqania, Muttaheda Ulema Board KP, and the Council of Islamic Ideology, this training aimed to build the capacities of local faith leaders, faith-based organizations, religious institutions and UNICEF. The focus was on developmental and humanitarian issues, including the immunization program (specifically the Polio program), child marriage, and child sexual abuse in Pakistan. The training emphasized linking these issues with faith perspectives to foster positive change within communities.
Objectives and Outcomes
The primary objective of the Mind-Heart Dialogue training was to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to address developmental and humanitarian challenges from a faith-based perspective. By doing so, the initiative aims to:
- Enhance Immunization Efforts: With a particular focus on the Polio program, faith leaders are now better equipped to advocate for and support immunization initiatives within their communities.
- Combat Child Marriage and Child Sexual Abuse: By integrating faith teachings, the initiative seeks to raise awareness and develop strategies to combat child marriage and child sexual abuse, promoting the protection and well-being of children.
- Promote Positive Behavioral Change: Linking developmental issues with faith perspectives helps in promoting positive behavioral changes that are culturally and religiously relevant, ensuring greater acceptance and impact.
Future Plans
This initiative will further cascade within the provinces, with continued support from the partners mentioned above. The aim is to bring together individuals and organizations with a shared vision of creating an enabling environment for children in Pakistan. By leveraging the influence and reach of faith leaders and institutions, FPCC seeks to create sustainable and impactful change that benefits children, families, and communities across the country.

د پاکستان لپاره د ماشومانو، کورنیو او ټولنو لپاره د باور او مثبت بدلون (FPCC) نوښت
“د ماشومانو، کورنیو او ټولنو لپاره د باور او مثبت بدلون (FPCC)” یو نوښتګر نړیوال ټولنیز او سلوکي بدلون نوښت دی چې په ۲۰۱۸ کال کې د یونیسف، د باور او محلي ټولنو د ګډ زده کړې نوښت (JLI) او د سولې لپاره مذهبونو (RFP) لخوا پیل شوی دی. دا نوښت د پرمختیايي او بشري کار په برخه کې د دودیز واحد سکتور، واحد مذهب، کوچني پیمانه او کله ناکله وسیله لرونکي چلند څخه اوښتل غواړي.
په پاکستان کې د نړیوال نوښت تطبیق
په پاکستان کې د FPCC نړیوالې لیدنې په هېواد کې د راوستلو په هڅه کې، پاکستان په فعاله توګه د باور همغږۍ میکنی زمونه پیاوړي کوي. هدف دا دی چې مختلف مذهبونه سره یوځای کړي ترڅو په ګډه مهم مسایل لکه د واکسیناسیون او د ماشومانو ساتنه په ګډه حل کړي. په دې برخه کې یو مهم ګام د درې ورځني “ذهن او زړه د خبرو اترو” روزنې تنظیم کول وو.
د ذهن او زړه د خبرو اترو روزنه
دا روزنه د یونیسف پاکستان په همکارۍ د JLI، RFP، اسلامي ریلیف پاکستان، دارالعلوم حقانیه، متحده علماء بورډ KP او د اسلامي نظرياتي كونسل په ګډون تنظیم شوې وه. هدف یې د محلي باور مشران، د باور پر بنسټ سازمانونه او مذهبي ادارې پیاوړي کول وو. تمرکز یې په پرمختیايي او بشري مسائل وو، چې په دې کې د واکسیناسیون پروګرام (په ځانګړي توګه د پولیو پروګرام)، د ماشومانو ودونه، او د ماشومانو جنسي ناوړه ګټه اخیستنه شامل وو. روزنې د دې مسایلو د باور له لید سره تړلو باندې ټینګار وکړ ترڅو په ټولنو کې مثبت بدلون رامینځته کړي.
هدفونه او پایلې
د ذهن او زړه د خبرو اترو روزنې لومړنی هدف دا و چې ګډونوالو ته د باور پر بنسټ پرمختیایی او بشري ننګونو د حلولو لپاره اړین پوهه او مهارتونه ورکړي. په دې توګه، نوښت لاندې هدفونه لري:
۱. د واکسیناسیون هڅې پیاوړي کول: د پولیو پروګرام په ځانګړي توګه، د باور مشران اوس ښه تیار شوي دي ترڅو د واکسیناسیون پروګرامونو ملاتړ وکړي او په خپلو ټولنو کې یې تبلیغ کړي.
۲. د ماشومانو ودونو او د ماشومانو جنسي ناوړه ګټه اخیستنې سره مبارزه: د باور د ښوونو په شاملولو سره، نوښت هڅه کوي چې پوهاوی لوړ کړي او ستراتیژۍ رامینځته کړي ترڅو د ماشومانو ودونو او د ماشومان جنسي ناوړه ګټه اخیستنې سره مبارزه وکړي، د ماشومانو ساتنه او روغتیا پرمختګ وکړي.
۳. د مثبت سلوکي بدلون هڅول: د پرمختیايي مسایلو د باور له لید سره تړل مرسته کوي چې مثبت سلوکي بدلونونه هڅوي چې کلتوري او مذهبي لحاظه اړونده دي، ترڅو د لوی منلو او اغیزې ډاډ ترلاسه شي.
راتلونکی پلانونه
دا نوښت به په راتلونکی ولایتونو کې نور هم تطبیق شي، د پورته یاد شوو همکاران په دوامداره ملاتړ سره. هدف دا دی چې هغه خلک او سازمانونه سره یوځای کړي چې د ماشومانو لپاره یو وړ چاپیریال رامینځته کولو لپاره شریک لید لري. د باور مشرانو او ادارو د اغیزې او لاسرسي په کارولو سره، FPCC هڅه کوي چې پایښت لرونکی او اغیزمن بدلون رامینځته کړي چې د ماشومانو، کورنیو او ټولنو په ګټه وي.
په پای کې، د FPCC نوښت په پاکستان کې د پرمختیايي او بشري مسایلو د حلولو لپاره د باور ځواک د کارولو په برخه کې یو مهم ګام دی. د مختلف باور ټولنو ترمنځ همکارۍ ته وده ورکولو او د پرمختیايي هدفونو سره د دې هڅو د تړلو په ترڅ کې، FPCC د هیواد د ماشومانو لپاره د روښانه او عادلانه راتلونكي لپاره لاره هواروي.
