About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

On January 17 2024, JLI held a MEAL Hub session where members had the opportunity to learn about bottom-up project co-design from hub co-chair Mukunda Adhikari. The session covered how issues such as decolonization, localization, participation and inclusion should be taken into consideration when designing development projects. Mukunda Adhikari is the Development Effectiveness Advisor at Transform Aid International, Australia and as a Research Consultant in the Institute for Sustainable Futures at University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
