About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

On October 13, 2022, JLI held a webinar where Prof Dr Erin K. Wilson, University of Groningen, presented her upcoming book ‘Religion and World Politics – Connecting Theory with Practice’. Ana Maria Daou, Adyan Foundation, responded.

The pre-read for the session was Chapter 4 of Erin’s upcoming book ‘From “Secular” Development to Global Partnership – Religion in International Aid and Humanitarianism’.
