Soka Gakkai International (SGI) and Asian Disaster Reduction & Response Network (ADRRN) have produced a new educational tool on the issue of humanitarian affairs titled “Restoring Our Humanity” in order to raise awareness among ordinary citizens and showcase what can be done at the grassroots or individual level. This tool will be used in various occasions in the future.
An exhibition set of the tool will be displayed for the first time at the Exhibition Fair of the World Humanitarian Summit (WHS). In this occasion we plan to organize a brief viewing event and hope to receive feedback from distinguished guests for our future initiatives. We believe this tool will help spread the significance of education on the issue so it can be more often addressed in actual educational curriculum or in international conferences.
