About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

Following the Religion & Sustainable Development conference program on July 8, the World Bank Group and Islamic Relief USA will host a Ramadan Iftar (Dinner) “Building Partnerships to End Extreme Poverty”.

This interfaith gathering will provide World Bank Group staff, faith leaders and partners an opportunity to break bread together in celebration of Ramadan and to reflect upon a shared commitment to ending extreme poverty. World Bank Group President Dr. Jim Yong Kim will host the event and offer remarks alongside other faith leaders.
