Islamic Relief Deutschland is a German NGO with a humanitarian mission. It has been based in Cologne since it was founded in 1996.

Islamic Relief Deutschland is a member of the Islamic Relief Worldwide network with 15 independent Islamic Relief partner organizations in Europe, Africa, Asia and the USA, which was founded in 1984 in response to the famine in the Horn of Africa at the time. Thanks to their worldwide network of partner and project offices in more than 40 countries, they reach vulnerable people in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe with their emergency aid and development projects. Their help is supported by thousands of local helpers and coordinated by the international office in Birmingham. Islamic Relief Deutschland’s headquarters are in Cologne; There are branches in Berlin, Essen and Munich.
