About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

The Tony Blair Faith Foundation has just released the first volume in their new Global Perspectives Series, detailing the concerns, and their implications, of leading academic and policy experts in policy areas critical to addressing the challenges of religious extremism and conflict.

Entitled Religion and Conflict: Responding to the Challenges, it has been edited by the Faith Foundation in collaboration with Professor Daniel Cere of McGill University.

The Tony Blair Faith Foundation provides the practical support required to help prevent religious prejudice, conflict and extremism in order to promote open-minded and stable societies. This volume proves that this cause has never been more urgent and that action is needed now.
