About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

On June 10-13, the UK’s Foreign Secretary and Angelina Jolie, Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees co-chaired the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence. The three-day summit was a great success at which Jolie and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called for an end to sexual violence in conflict.  Below is an image of a panel of speakers at the inspiring faith event.
