The symposium is part of KAICIID’s commitment to building Social Cohesion as well as the Centre’s work with the UN Office on the Prevention of Genocide on the Plan of Action for Religious Leaders and Actors to Prevent Incitement to Violence that Could Lead to Atrocity Crimes (the Action Plan). The symposium will bring together a broad range of faith-communities inside the United Kingdom to discuss strengthening social cohesion in the UK and to spark a greater dialogue within the UK on how to counter the recent rise in discrimination, hate speech and hate crimes.
