The meeting will be structured as two expert panel discussions followed by moderated Q&A. The opportunities, needs and challenges faced by young people using social media, particularly in areas affected directly or indirectly by conflict, will be discussed by policy-makers, social media experts and activists. A particular emphasis will be given to the social media engagement of marginalized stakeholders, especially women and youth. KAIICID’s particular experience in the Arab region will be highlighted.
