About JLI

An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

Child participation is a central pillar in preventing and ending violence against children. Many faith traditions offer critical perspectives on the importance of meaningful child participation and the inherent dignity and value of children as complete members of society.

The JLI’s Ending Violence Against Children (EVAC) Learning Hub launched a 3-part webinar series – Seen But Not Heard.

  1. Multi-religious Perspectives on Child Participation (Lea el resumen en español)
  2. Practical Examples of Child Participation ( Lea el resumen en español)
  3. An Intergenerational Dialogue on Child Participation (Lea el resumen en español) as part of Arigatou’s Week of Action for Children.
