An international collaboration on evidence for faith actors’ activities, contributions, and challenges to achieving humanitarian and development goals. Founded in 2012, JLI came together with a single shared conviction: there is an urgent need to build our collective understanding, through evidence, of faith actors in humanitarianism and development.

Workshop hosted by the Research Programme on Religious Communities and Sustainable Development – Humbodlt Universitat zu Berlin

22-23 March 2021 (online/hybrid event)

Invitation for the submission of abstracts for the international Workshop Religious Communities and Sustainable Development in the Middle East. The workshop will take place as an online or hybrid event depending on future corona regulations. The event is organized by the Research Programme on Religious Communities and Sustainable Development at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Accepted papers will be considered for publication in a dedicated issue of the new open access journal Religion & Development, a forthcoming interdisciplinary and international publication outlet in the field ofreligion and development.

Notice of acceptance will be sent out shortly thereafter. Accepted contributors will be asked to submit their full papers and/or presentations until 14 March 2021.
