The “Religion & Sustainable Development: Building Partnerships to End Extreme Poverty” conference, held at the World Bank on July 7-9, 2015, aimed to produce specific and actionable recommendations to strengthen partnerships between public sector and religious and faith-based groups. Conference working sessions focused on the areas of Health Systems Strengthening, Ebola & HIV, Sexual & Gender-based Violence, Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief, and the cross-cutting theme of Large Scale Engagement of FBOs and engaged attendees in small working groups in order to generate recommendations for action.
